Key Responsibilities

In this role, you may be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Automating build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Establishing standardized promotion strategies across development, test, and production environments.
  • Developing and enforcing GitHub source-control standards for notebooks, pipelines, reports, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Managing and optimizing GitHub, including migration from Azure DevOps.
  • Supporting CI/CD modernization across the organization’s data platform.
  • Collaborating with BI, data engineering, cloud, and analytics teams.
  • Assessing existing data, architecture, workflows, and CI/CD platform maturity.
  • Developing automated testing frameworks for data pipelines and deployments.
  • Establishing release-management procedures for scheduling, versioning, and environment promotion.
  • Implementing governance and quality controls through pipeline gates and validation processes.
  • Building monitoring and alerting for CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
  • Documenting deployment standards and helping teams adopt consistent engineering practices.
  • Mentoring engineers and analysts on Git workflows, CI/CD, and deployment best practices.
  • Continuously improving deployment pipelines and data-platform delivery processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Health, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of systems, application, and/or database platform administration experience.
  • Experience with platforms such as:
    • Epic
    • SQL Server
    • Tableau
    • SAS
    • BusinessObjects
  • Experience architecting data management, analytics, business intelligence, and application integration solutions.
